For a long time my goal in life was to be a human party trick.. I’d watch people lift crazy amounts of weight, flip and jump over buildings and contort to all kinds of shapes! It was amazing to watch, but I could never do that kind of stuff, right? WRONG!!
Thats when I found CrossFit. It opened up so much possibility! I learn’t how to snatch, handstand and pick heavy stuff of the ground. It also gave me the confidence to try other even stranger skills, like flipping. Through this journey I realised that I love three things: learning, moving and playing.
Now as a coach I try to share my methodologies for learning movement through these 3 guiding principles
Learn
Learn new things often, even if its redundant or stupid never stop being a student of life
Move
Practice and perfect what you’ve learn t always try to take steps forward to better hone your crafts.
Play
at the end of the day this is the most important, their are going to be times that frustrate you but you need to put fun first. If you don’t love it you’ll never really excel 🙂
